Please be assured that Western Fraternal Life never sells lists of names and addresses of our customers to any vendor of goods or services.
Information we collected—
You have provided Western with information on applications and other transaction forms. This information may include membership status information such as your name, residence, date of birth, phone number and underwriting information including your social security number, beneficiaries, employment, income, and medical information.
Information we share—
As a fraternal organization we encourage fraternal activities and promote the cultivation and preservation of the Czech and Slovak history and culture. As such, membership status information is provided to our fraternal lodges, considered closer than affiliates, and may be printed in our monthly publication, the Fraternal Herald. We may also disclose the nonpublic personal information that we have collected to our affiliated and nonaffiliated business partners with whom we have developed collaborative relationships and they perform insurance services on our behalf. In addition, we may also disclose the nonpublic personal information that we have collected to our company, Western Fraternal Life Wealth Management, Inc., which is owned 100% by Western Fraternal Life Association. All underwriting information provided and obtained is protected in accordance with the authorization of information stated on all of our applications. We do not make any other disclosures of nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.
Confidentiality and security—
Western Fraternal Life maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. Western employees have been trained in the careful handling and protection of such information and access is restricted to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. Employees only share this information outside the association as authorized by you or for specific business purpose.
