The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation held a fundraiser and awareness walk on May 6 in Cedar Rapids, IA. Over 200 people came together on that day and the funds raised are then used to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

Members of Cedar No. 7 (Cedar Rapids, IA) helped with the event by volunteering to help register, set-up, tear down, organize volunteers, and manage the event with two to three hours donated per member. The lodge also made a monetary donation to the Foundation, which was then matched through Community Matching Funds provided by Western Fraternal Life.
