On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management Team, and Home Office staff, we wish you a very happy New Year.
Mark your calendars! The next Convention will be on July 18 and 19, 2019 at the Hyatt on Main in Green Bay, WI. We will also be hosting the second Youth Conference as well. Keep your eye out for information throughout this year and next.
We hope you have enjoyed the past year of themed Fraternal Herald magazines, including this month’s “music” issue. See pages 4-5 for an interview with Mollie B!
We are very pleased to recognize many of our loyal members who will celebrate 50 and 75-year anniversaries in 2018, as well as lodge anniversaries. We are thankful to have many members and lodges that have contributed to our success throughout the years.
As always, we are fortunate to have agents who help us maintain our membership and provide meaningful services. We will be making note of their achievements in the February issue.
As a fraternal benefit society, our focus on community service sets us apart. Our member volunteers play an important role in their communities. The 2017 Fraternalist of the Year is the epitome of a service-oriented member. We are proud to call Diane Bradley a member and were thrilled to name her the 2017 Fraternalist of the Year. Diane’s accomplishments appeared in the November 2017 Fraternal Herald. We are proud to have members like her who lead the way by demonstrating fraternalism in her lodge and community.
I would like to extend my most heartfelt thanks to all our members this year. Western’s continued strength is not possible without the support of our members.
