Members met December 9 at Ord Veterans Club.
Eric Spilinek celebrated a November birthday and Jazmyne Marlin celebrated a December birthday. Birthday treats were handed out.
The volunteer hour’s sheet was passed around. A thank-you note was read from the Heartland Youth Ranch Ministry for the monetary donation.
An election of officers was held with the following results: President Ernest Maly, Vice President Eric Spilinek, Secretary/Treasurer Terry Spilinek, Correspondent Diane Spilinek, and Trustees Simon Walkowiak, Jazmyne Marlin, and Linda Maresh.
Signed Christmas cards and mints were prepared for the Christmas trays at Grandview and Valleyview assisted living residents.
Fruit was purchased and taken to a local daycare after the meeting.

Members met October 21 at Ord Veterans Club. Members gathered with member Minnie Maly as she celebrated her 102nd birthday at Valleyview Senior Village.
A card and memorial was sent to the family of Mildred Maley.
Monetary donations were made to the Ord Food Pantry, Ord Senior Center, and the Heartland Youth Ranch.
Non-perishable food was brought to the meeting and delivered to the Ord Food Panty.
Trick-or-treat candy was taken to the Ord St. Mary’s School students to hand out after the Halloween parade in Ord. We also assisted a business in handing out candy, along with taking trick-or-treat bags to the Valleyview and Grandview Independent and Assisted Living Center residents.
A moment of silence was held in remembrance of Veteran’s Day and Mildred Maley. A thank-you note was read from the Ord St. Mary’s School students for the school supplies that we took them.
Members purchased a turkey for St. John’s Lutheran Church to help with the meal they prepared and served.

A moment of silence was observed in memory of our departed brother, Emanuel Sedlacek. A card and memorial were sent to the family.
Due to conflicts, we decided to hold our October meeting on the 21st, the third Sunday in October.
We had 108 registrations at our bicycle/tricycle giveaway at North Loup Popcorn Days. The bicycle was won by Abby Hickenbottom of Ansley, NE and the tricycle was won by Collin Jensen of North Loup, NE.

Back to school bags were assembled and delivered to an area school after the October meeting. We purchased candy and helped an area business hand out trick-or-treat candy after the Halloween parade in Ord.
Members met on July 1 at the Ords Veterans Club. We plan to promote Western in a local parade and pass out candy to the youth.
An invitation was read from No. 76 Milligan to attend the State Meeting on August 25.
The Board of Trustees audited the books after the meeting and found everything to be in order.
We had a meeting on August 5 at the Ord Veterans Club. Some members promoted Western in the Grover Cleveland Alexander Days parade in St. Paul on July 7.
Iron has been delivered to a local business for recycling.
Our bike giveaway was held at Popcorn Days in North Loup on August 25.
Diane, Justin, and Shari Spilinek celebrated birthdays at the August meeting and provided treats.

Members planned to promote Western in the Grover Cleveland Alexander Days parade on July 7 in St. Paul. We discussed if enough members were able to participate on the day of the parade.
Due to conflicts, members voted to move the July meeting to July 1, the first Sunday in July.
We had our bike giveaway during North Loup Popcorn Days on August 25. Youth registered throughout the afternoon with the prizes awarded at the end of the evening.

An invitation to join Grandview Independent and Assisted Living Center for their volunteer appreciation supper on April 16 was extended.
Members were updated with the specifics on our Join Hands Day activity, which was held on May 1.
The May meeting was changed to the first Sunday in May due to Mother’s Day falling on the regular meeting day.
