Members met August 13 at the Two Rivers Fire Station.
We donated money to two elementary schools in Two Rivers for teacher’s supplies and to the Haven in Manitowoc, WI.
Members brought new caps and mittens for schools to our meeting on October 8.
Members met June 11 for dinner, followed by a meeting at Two Rivers Fire Station.
We will host the District 2 Meeting in May of 2019 and talked about where it will be held.
Members discussed events we will do in October and November.
The March 12 meeting was held at the Two Rivers Fire Station. A moment of silence was observed for deceased members.
We planted two trees in April at a Two Rivers cemetery. We cleaned three parks in Two Rivers on May 5 for Join Hands Day.
Members hosted Bingo at Meadow View Assisted Living in Two Rivers. A donation was made to Relay for Life.
Members met November 13 at the Two Rivers Fire Station. Members brought caps and mittens for Magee and Koenig Schools and Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry. Ruth Sleger knitted 55 pairs of mittens!
We donated money to two local hospitals for their Lights of Love Christmas trees. Members gave the fire station a grocery certificate. A monetary donation was made to St. Peter the Fisherman Parish for Thanksgiving turkeys for needy families.
Members met on June 12 and had a moment of silence for deceased members. We also discussed the point system.
We bought and planted two trees at Pioneer’s Rest Cemetery in April with help from city workers. Members cleaned two parks in Two Rivers for Join Hands Day in May.
President Don Sleger informed us that our lodge was established here in 1904. We were astonished to learn No. 142 was nearly 113 years old.
President Don Sleger also celebrated his 88th birthday.

Members planted two trees for Earth Day at Pioneer Rest Cemetery.
Meetings were held February 8, March 14, April, and June.
We recently lost four members: Jean Plansky, Barbara Naidl, Jeanelle Loberges, and William Kopetsky. We send our sympathy to their families.
Member Kirsten Boettcher attended the Dupree Convention and Dance Competition in Chicago. She received a gold award for her solo competition dance.
