Members met on September 16 at St. Joseph Catholic Church following dinner. Reports were read.
We agreed to continue with can tabs and box tops. We also ordered coloring books for fourth graders.
Our Christmas dinner and meeting will be December 9 at noon at the Red Apple Café. Bring items for the food pantry.
We held an annual potluck with members and visitors at Waubun Park. There were 26 volunteer hours turned in.
Members will meet on September 16 at Beaulieu Catholic Church.
The lodge met May 6 at the Red Apple Cafe in Mahnomen. Cheer baskets were made by the High School FFA Club. Baskets were delived by members to the local nursing home. Volunteer hours were turned in for a total of 161.
The lodge picnic is July 15 at noon in Waubun, MN.
Members met March 11 at the Red Apple Café in Mahnomen. The District 1 Meeting was April 4 at the Nordhem in Karlstad, MN.
Members met January 14 at the Red Apple Café. Officers will remain the same for 2018.
We collected items for the homeless shelter.
Join us May 6 for Join Hands Day and meeting at 1 p.m. at the Red Apple Café. July 1 is our picnic at Waubun Park. September 16 is a meeting at St. Joseph’s. November 11 is a meeting at Red Apple Café at 5 p.m. and December 9 is a Christmas party and meeting at noon.

We donated to Helping Hands, Lights Up, Lakes Crisis Center, local 4-H club, Mahnomen Senior Center, Waubun Meals on Wheels, and the Western Scholarship Fund.
Santa Claus Day was December 9. Food items were collected for the local food pantry.
Members met May 7 at the Red Apple Café in Mahnomen. Jim mowed the cemetery and cemetery clean up was May 21.

A meeting was held on January 8 and we elected officers for the year.
The March meeting was conducted to discuss the District/State Meetings and to plan spring/summer activities. Our annual potluck/picnic will by July 2. July 29-30 is the MN State Meeting.
Congratulations to Bennie Zaviska, he was named Mahnomen County Senior Citizen of the Year in January. Also to Adelle DeVries and Doug Ryant for being school staff of the month for January and February.
