The NCSML re-opened at 30 16th Ave. in the old Kosek building in Czech Village on Saturday April 17. Many officials were present including Iowa Governor Chet Culver, Cedar Rapid Mayor Ron Corbett, the Consul General of the Czech Republic, Marek Skolil, Cultural Attaché Jana Rácová, and Museum President/CEO Gail Naughton. The Czech Plus band and the Czech Heritage singers performed prior. The Czech princess and Little Sisters also attended. Several TV cameras covered the event.
