Introducing you to the Financial Planning Process
All of us need a “plan” to be financially successful. Financial Planning is the process of planning your spending, financing and investing while anticipating and dealing with the “road blocks” to financial success. In the financial planning process you will establish goals, create a framework and adopt a philosophy that will allow you to make better choices among financial products. Once you have a plan in place, then you can spend less time juggling with your financial matters. Yet, you will need to set aside time (annually at a minimum) updating your plan. During the process of financial planning you will be able to make better financial decisions that will, over time, result in greater wealth and peace of mind.
Engaging tax professionals, attorneys, professional insurance agents and investment professionals is essential to financial success. Attorneys should draft your legal documents and you should seek professional tax advice and guidance in the selection of insurance and investment products.
The worksheets, sample planning documents and education articles provided here are tools that will help you in the basics of planning process, but may not be inclusive of all of your financial needs. Talk with your Western Fraternal Life representative about your needs. Together we can help you reach your financial goals.
