How Simple is Simplified Issue Whole Life?

Apr 01, 2016

How simple is Simplified Issue Whole Life? Super simple! We are so excited, because Western has made applying for life insurance so much easier! All you need to do is answer seven health questions and wait a short time to see if you are accepted. Of course, you need to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. You won’t need a medical exam, doctor’s records, or a lab test. This is why it’s called “simplified issue.”

Don’t let the name overwhelm you - this is just simply a new permanent life plan with an easy application. Permanent plans last your whole life, as long as you pay your premiums, and the premiums never increase. There is a limit on the face amount, which as we learned before is the amount beneficiaries receive if an insured dies. The face amounts with this application are $5,000 - $24,999. Additionally, this plan does not pay dividends.

You have four choices to pay for this plan:

  • Pay one premium
  • Pay premiums over 10 years
  • Pay premiums over 20 years
  • Pay premiums over a lifetime
