Online Life Insurance Payments are Now Available! 

Western is happy to announce that we have partnered with Orbipay to offer the convenience of online life insurance and loan payments. Simply click the “Make a Payment” link below to be automatically directed to Orbipay’s secure website.

Orbipay accepts payment via credit card, debit card and checking account. Be prepared with the 6-digit certificate number, insured member’s zip code, and card or check information.

Online Payment Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is Orbipay a secure way to make my payment?

A: Yes it is! Orbipay allows Western to accept your credit/debit card and checking account payment while protecting your privacy. Your card/account numbers are not retained.

Q: Can I make a payment on my loan via the website?

A: Yes! You are able to specify that your payment goes toward your loan.

Q: What type of payments does Orbipay accept?

A: Orbipay accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express credit and debit cards, and payments via your checking account.

Q: Do I have to set up a payment account online?

A: No, no account is necessary. All online payments through Orbipay are 1-time transactions. However, you may set up an Orbipay account and indicate that you wish for your card/account numbers to be stored for future use.

Q: Will I receive a confirmation of my Orbipay transaction?

A: If you create a log in, you will receive an email confirmation of your payment.

If you do not create a log in, a printable confirmation will appear on the screen once your transaction is complete.

Q: What information do I need to make a payment through my checking account?

A: You will need your 9-digit routing number and your account number.


Q: Can I still call the Home Office to make a credit card payment?

A: No. As of June 1, 2019, the Home Office will no longer accept any payments over the phone. Please use Orbipay to make credit card payments online.

Q: Do I have to log into my Western online account like I do when I view my coverage details?

A: No. No log in is required when making a payment online. You will simply need to enter the certificate number and insured member’s zip code.

Q: Can I make a payment on my annuity online?

A: At this time Orbipay will not accept annuity payments.

Q: Can I use Orbipay to set up recurring monthly payments?

A: No, at this time, recurring payments are not available with Orbipay. (For recurring monthly payments through your checking account, please go to the “Set Up Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Payment” tab to download an EFT authorization.)

Q: Is there a fee for the online payments?

A: Yes. There is a charge of $2.95 for each service.

Q: What are the hours that Orbipay accepts payments?

A: All hours! Please note: payments made after 8:00 pm CST will be applied the following business day.
