ANNUITIES

Western Fraternal Life Association offers three types of annuity certificates to meet the needs of its members.

Flexible Payment Deferred Annuity: A fixed-rate, flexible purchase payment deferred annuity available for the qualified and non-qualified markets. Earnings on the amount in the annuity accumulate on a tax-deferred basis and members may access funds through withdrawal privileges.
Single Payment Deferred Annuity: A fixed-rate, single purchase payment deferred annuity available for the qualified and non-qualified markets. Earnings on the amount in the annuity accumulate on a tax-deferred basis and members may access funds through withdrawal privileges.
Single Premium Immediate Annuity: A fixed income, single lump sum premium, immediate annuity. It is available for both the qualified and non-qualified markets. Members can receive guaranteed income payments from a variety of income options.

PERMANENT LIFE INSURANCE

Western Fraternal Life Association offers several types of life insurance certificates.

Whole Life Insurance: A traditional dividend paying life insurance certificate that provides life-long insurance protection. It features guaranteed level premiums, guaranteed cash values and optional riders and benefits.
Single Premium Whole Life: A dividend paying life insurance certificate that provides life-long insurance protection. It features a one-time lump sum premium and guaranteed cash values.
Value Life: A permanent life insurance certificate that provides life-long insurance protection with flexible premium and adjustable benefits. Guaranteed not to lapse if the minimum no-lapse premium is paid as due.
Universal Life: Provides permanent insurance protection with flexible premium and adjustable benefits. Cash values accumulate at competitive interest rates on a tax-deferred basis.
Acceleration of Death Benefit Option for Terminal Illness: This rider is available with wfla permanent plans as a special product benefit option at no additional cost.

TERM LIFE INSURANCE

Western Fraternal Life Association offers three types of term life insurance certificates.

5 Year & 10 Year Term: A level term insurance certificate that provides insurance protection to age 70. It features premiums that are renewable every five years or ten years to age 70, and is convertible to permanent insurance at any time prior to the certificate anniversary following the insured’s age 65, without proof of insurability. The plan also provides optional riders and benefits.
Term Life To Age 25: A term insurance certificate for children that provides insurance protection to age 25. It features attractively low annual or monthly premiums or a one-time single premium and insurance protection that is guaranteed convertible to age 25.
15, 20 or 30 Year Renewable Term: A level term insurance certificate that provides insurance protection to age 95. This term is convertible to permanent insurance coverage at anytime prior to the end of the original 15/20/30 time period or prior to the certificate anniversary following age 75. The plan also provides optional riders and benefits including:

Cash Refund Rider: This is an optional benefit that may only be attached to a 15, 20 or 30 Year Term. The rider can be constructed to return all the premiums paid for the base term certificate plus all the premiums paid for the cash refund rider at the end of the specified term period.

RETIREMENT PLANS

Western Fraternal Life Association offers two types of retirement plans to meet the needs of its members. All retirement plans are funded with the use of annuities outlined above.

Traditional Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA's)
Roth Individual Retirement Accounts (Roth IRA's)
